Rear pad and disc change

Hi all,

Was wondering how to change the rear pads and discs when you have an electric handbrake, is there a way of releasing it so that I can get in there and change it all.

Many thanks.

I done mine and no different to any other caliper with handbrake build in, you will just need a standard rewind tool.

Just when you turn the ignition off the handbrake automatically comes on, just wondering if there is away of keeping it off.

Press the handbrake button and it'll release (I think!) cant have been hard to figure out as I dont remember it being an issue.

I think what David said is correct. Shut down, pull the handbrake lever to release the handbrake and get out of the car. All sorts of alarms will sound until the door is shut. Obviously you should chock the wheels before doing so. Then the handbrake will stay off until you properly power the car up again. (Don't put the ignition on to get the radio working until you have finished)

Many thanks, just didn’t know if there was a fancy way of doing it.
