DRL replacement

Hey guys, both my day light running lights, the LED strips above the fog lights, have stopped working. How do I remove/replace these. Many thanks in advance for any advice.

Apparantly they are not the DRLs, they are the sidelight.

If they have both stopped then its unlikely to be an LED/ bulb failure, more likely to be a fuse, a relay or a bad earth. That said, the LED hockey sticks are sidelights and the DRLs are in the inner part of the headlamp. Both should not be on at the same time. ie with the light switch set at auto you should have DRLs in daylight, move the switch to sidelights and the hockey sticks should light and the DRLs switch off.

In the display menu, I have DRLs off, and auto always brings on the sidelights, day or night.

I'm pretty sure the sidelights and DRLs were on at the same time on my DS4 when I had the lights set to Auto. Only time DRLs went off was when the headlights were on.

Currently: 2017 Jaguar XE R-Sport 25t - Caesium Blue
Previously: 2011 CitroŽn DS4 DSport THP 200 - Babylon Red

On the original DS4, as Vexorg says, you can turn the DRL’s (which are in the headlights) off on the menu and by leaving the lights on ‘auto’ you get just the boomerangs (sidelights)

We had one of these and then a 2015 DS4 which had the updated infotainment and these couldn’t have the DRL’s off; the only way to get the LED boomerangs on was to select the sidelights but then the display would be too dark.

Was; 2015 DS4 2.0HDi \'blue\' 150 DSport in Babylon Red with black leather (not missed)
Was; 2013 DS4 1.6HDi 115 DStyle in Gris Aluminium with Sao cloth/ leather (sadly missed)

DRL were compulsory after 2013 under EU rules.

Right yeah, when side lights selected they're still not coming on, next port of call is fuse and relay. Cheers guys!

Hey guys, has anyone ever replaced these, before. Everything seems ok (fuse wise etc) but I've noticed one is totally out, whilst the other is really dull and only lighting up a tiny portion of the side light/boomerang, looks like moisture may have effected them.
Do I need to remove the bumper to access them? Thanks once again for the help guys.
