Rattle

Hi i wounder if any one could help me i have a rattle on the passengers side ; it sounds like a boule with a smaller bowle rolling around in it , or an empty container that the not is loose and rattels.
i have jumped up and down on the door jam to see if it does it but it dosent. only when i drive along DS4 2014

Does it happen over rough road, smooth road, turning, accelerating, braking, etc. Needs more infomation

Lot of people on here and other forums are saying front shocks. I have the same rattle turning right on uneven surfaces haven’t changed them yet as 2 mechanics haven’t found a fault. But shocks are under load so won’t find a fault until removed from car.

The top mount bearing were completely shot on mine. One was a ring of rust, and the other just worn and dead. Mine was at 80k, so yours cant be far off that.



I smothered them in grease when fitting new ones, hopefully keep then going a bit longer.That's been nearly 40k miles and still sounds ok.
At the time I replaced the shock, spring, antiroll bar drop link and track rod ends. So we like new again.
