Hi All,
Anyone tried to get the low pressure pump out of the fuel tank? The ring around mine does not want to unscrew & I don't want to break it! Any tips?

Did it in the end, made a tool out of a piece of bar, 2 bolts & welded a nut, still a struggle to get off & back on though. & I don't think I've cured anything. Anyone know of any common fuel problems? 1.6 Blue Hdi 120 by the way!

What makes you suspect the low pressure fuel system?

Filter was done the week before, old one had never been (64000 mile service). Cut out on me a week later, changed filter again for a genuine as I've red that they are picky about them. Re started EVENTUALLY, got home & hasn't started since, when it does it will only run for a minute (maximum), flow from low pressure didn't seem great, replaced pump with a second hand one from a running car, same flow & not cured(Citroen can't get one until at least January, & I need it now, Key worker & all that). No relevant fault codes from Diagbox, low & high fuel pressures are good(5bar & up to 500Bar), signal to injectors(albeit just done with a Power Probe so not very accurate) 5v to all injectors. I'm now presuming injectors but like I say no fault codes & I can't see all 4 failing at once? Could it be a crank/cam sensor with a dodgy signal? Any ideas gratefully received as I'm stumped, I'm not the best but pretty reasonable mechanically & electrically(do almost everything to my cars & bikes myself, & family/mates cars/bikes).
It's a 2015 1.6 BlueHdi, 120, DV6FC.
