Citroen will present the new DS4 at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed to mark its official UK debut.
The small family car, recently voted the ‘Most Beautiful Car of the Year’ at the International Automobile Festival, will be displayed for public viewing at the motoring festival. Attendees will be able to drive the DS4 at the Moving Motor Show on 30 June.
The DS4 five-door hatchback is the second model created as part of Citroen’s DS brand line-up. It will have a choice of three petrol and two diesel engines, the most powerful unit the THP 200 Petrol produces 200hp. Each engine is available with Start & Stop technology.
The Citroen DS4 also achieved a maximum five star rating in the Euro NCAP crash safety test. The family car will go on sale in the UK from 4 July.
Citroen are bringing some other models for its participation in this year’s Festival of Speed, which runs from 30 June till 3 July.
The Citroen DS3 Racing will also be made available for test driving during the Moving Motor Show. The special edition supermini has a power output of 207hp, and can accelerate from 0-62mph in just 6.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 146mph. Just 200 units of this model will arrive in the UK.
Citroen will also demonstrate its all-electric racing car concept, the Survolt, which will take part in the hill climb twice a day. Powered by twin lithium-ion batteries, the car can accelerate from 0-62mph in less than 5 seconds and reach a top speed of 162mph.
The French manufacturer will also display its award winning diesel hybrid concept, the Citroen Hypnos.
