Eeeeeh..... never heard that story. The only thing that won't work is the tire pressure sensor. Because in the steel wheels aren't any.
Or You have to buy some for in your steel wheels .

So the alarm will go off and on randomly. But that was shut off by my dealer.
When I get my aloys back for the summer he will put the tirepressure alarm back on!
(that's why they numbered my wheels, so that they can put back on the right wheel to the right sensor)

Completely off-topic - but, blimey - your car is very clean considering the time of year! How do you keep it so clean?!

I usually wash my car once a week by hand. But in the winter season I shut off my water outside.
So I have to go to the carwash now and then to wash the salt off.

that looks a funny size?
i was looking at tyre size 205 50 16 which is virtually the same as standard a 60 series tyre would be 2-3" taller is that ok?

what make of tyre you useing?
and what about wheel nuts are they your normal ones from your alloys? or have you used c4 ones?
cheers

Depends what size wheel you are coming off, if you have 18s or 19's you wont want to go too small/low or it will have an adverse effect on your geometry settings. From 225-40/18 the 60 profiles might be better.

@dug:

My tires are 'Vredestein Snowtrack' tires and I use my normal aloys bolts.

If you want to I'll make you a good picture and write down more info about them.

yes please
i have done some tyre configurations and you are right
best match would be 215 60 16 but 205 60 16 is slightly bigger over all but slightly thiner so better in snow :)

glad normal wheel nuts work with steel wheels, saves buying more
