Adjar you are probably right, I have had to hit the brakes very hard twice, both times I was very surprised at how good they were, I didn't realise and can't find it in the book but each time I did an emergency stop the hazards came on with a very fast flash until I pulled away. I do hard braking once a month just to ensure the rear brakes come on ok and the hazards don't come on then but in a real emergency they do.

haven't had to do an emergency stop, but I have noticed that the brakes catch sharply occasionally. I suppose it could give a following vehicle a problem if it's too close. i.e could cause a rear end shunt.
