I was investigating how to remove the wheel, more specifically to remove the centre nut cover.
I found a question about it from 2013 and I don't know if it is different on a 2016 DS. If this has already been covered then I have no problem if this is removed.
Although I have gloves on in the photos I found it just as easy without using fingers only.
Finding the hole in the cover, press a finger into the edge. (as shown)

Wiggle the finger into the gap that appears and work away the plastic cover from the wheel.

Then once the gap is big enough push another finger behind the plastic an pull.

It comes off a lot easier than I thought. Hope this helps others.Edited by: neilp
