Hi all,

I have a Dstyle 2hdi (160) on order and I was just wondering if anyone knew what the orange lights were below the radio read out on a ds4 without the sat nav?

The car I had as a test drive had the sat nav so the lights weren't there. But I see them I all the photos and I cannot wait for delivery to find out what they are!

Any help for a patience free soon to be ds4 owner would be appreciated.

Hi Dan, thanks for the welcome, appreciated.

No it's not the air con, the lights appear further up immediately under the display showing radio station info.

Will post a pic if I find one.

Cheers

I've found out (I guess) what you mean.

It is a display with a seatbelt and passenger airbag light.

I've noticed on my ds4 dsport the passenger air bag warning light stays on for a full minute after starting the seatbelt lights stay on for 30 secs if the seat belts not being used I assume this is normal?

Yes the lights show that the airbag is still activated. There is a pressure switch in the passenger seat (found out through having a bag which was heavy in the passenger seat). The main reason i think it shows you this is a safety issue to warn you it is still activated. I haven't checked the manual but know other cars do this in case you put a child seat in the passenger seat, you don't want the airbag going off and smashing into the back of a child seat (the baby ones you would put back to front).
