Hey everyone,
This being my first turbo equipped car, is it normal for what sounds like the engine fan to continue to run once parked and the car turned off ?
This happens even after a very short drive.
It eventually turns off and my wife's old Fiesta used to do this occasionally but my 1.6 turbo petrol DS seems to always 'run the fan'. I never thought I'd miss the old temperature gauge which would have given me more of an insight into whether she's running hot. . ‚
FYI: Average day temperatures are 25-35c at the mo.

Same story here, though mine is not a turbo one. Engine fan turns on for a few seconds even after a short drive, but never following a very short one like 2 or 5 minutes. I noticed that the duration of the fan going on depends upon the outside temperature and the time of drive. Looks like engine fan on DS4 is very sensitive.

Ok great to know that it appears to be normal operation.
There's certainly a lot of heat under the bonnet if you take a peek under there after a bit of a drive. The bonnet strutt is well hot !
I'll double check it with the dealer when it goes in for a check up early next year.
Cheers,
