Have you had a second opinion?
If the alloy has failed after 3 years it suggests it was faulty from the outset, so I would talk to the dealership about some sort of warranty recompense.
My last car had alloys and was 10 years ood when I sold it. There was nothing wrong with the wheels at that age, so there definitely should not be at 3 years old: or have you damaged it?
