That is funny there is a question on this... I drive home mostly in the dark last night about 300 miles, and had to,take the keys in and out often (lots of motorway stops due to cold weather and crossed legs
) and it started to REALLY big me they didn't light up the ignition key lock surround

Ha, I've had my DS4 for 3 weeks now and it really bugged me that there was no key barrel light, so I made one.
1.5mm clear Perspex sheet, a white LED and a couple of hole saws.
Undo two screws securing the bottom of the steering column cover, mines RHD, in Sydney. Slipped the now circular piece of Perspex over the opening for the key barrel - job done.

Now it's no problem trying to find the key barrel at night.

Keyless entry and start - that's the solution (and its superb!)

Here's one I grabbed this morning as I left for work.I'll take a couple more tonight.

Here's a photo of the light turned off. I tapped into the Footwell light so it dims nicely.

Here's my prototype -

I swapped out the green LED in the picture for a white LED to match the footwell LED's I've put in.
Good mod, if I say so myself.
