Hi, Its Le Mans on 21-23 June this year, is anyone else going ?

I have decided to take the DS4 back to its motherland for the nostalgic trip. Am looking forward to going on French motorways.
Am going out on Ferry from Hull -Zebrugge on Thursday night back Monday.

If you've never been I recommend it as well as the 24hr race the amount of high value/status Brit cars that do the journey have to be seen to be believed - the Gendarmerie love this weekend for catching speeders, but I have a secret route that does not usually get many problems. And if the Citroen does break down there is a Citroen garage on every corner, so best place to do it.

GasDs Sounds good to me, have done Dordogne twice ( not in DS though). Just love the caves, and Sarlat is a brilliant French town.
Citroen Assist is European wide, part of the beauty of having the dedicated button in the car. French motorways have a funny procedure though, they have state recovery, so you have to pay for it and claim back from breakdown company.
Also if you hav'nt done France before, you must carry first aid kit, warning triangle, reflective jacket, headlight deflectors and NF approved breathalyser kit.you can be on the spot fined for failing if Gendarmerie stop you, and they WILL escort you to a cash point if you do not have cash on you! Also speed camera warnings (dedicated or sat nav) are banned, its 1500 euro fine if caught - you can have sat nav as long as speed cameras disabled.
