Greeting to everyone!

I recently bought a second hand DS4 DStyle 2.0hdi with 25k on the clock.
Totally loving the car in general especially performance and fuel economy!

The only thing that I have noticed is that if the car sits overnight or in the car park all day, when I start up and pull away turning to the right at the same time something on the steering pings or twangs. Like there is tension in one of the components that is released suddenly?
After the initial "twang" the car is fine for the rest of the time!

Anyone else experienced this?

Greetings. Can't comment on the twang I'm afraid.

Welcome.
That's definitely odd.
Could it be the handbrake kind of binding and not releasing until you move off ?
I'd see what happens if you park it on a flat and dont apply the hand brake for the day / night.
