Hi guys

I've had my 16 plate Ds4 crossback for around a year now. Absolutely love it- it's my second car and is quite an upgrade from my old beast of a Ford Ka.
Only thing is it's proved to be quite expensive so far and I just wanted to ask whether these are normal issues or if its specifically my car.

So it's constantly been in and out for the ds specialist garage for issues around the adblue and engine lights coming on. Had various services and bits done (not sure on specifics) and things were looking up as theists had nit been on in around 2 months.

However now white smoke out of the exhaust and all the lights on again and I'm just a bit deflated. Is this going to be more faff or should I just sell up and get something else as its already cost so much!

What engine is it?

Mines been fairly average as a car goes, just the usual servicing part, and wear and tear. But I fix it all myself, so dont really think of the cost as the parts will last another several years (other than ARB links!!)

It's a 1.6, I take it to the ds specialist in my area (which albeit costs a bit more) but its just continous work regarding the adblue and emissions.

I'm not sure you really get a ds specialist as such, every thing it pretty much peugeot underneath.
