Well I've decided now I've had my DS4 for 3 weeks it's time
to play about making subtle changes so I have a list of things I am going to do:

1. Windows tinted. I am going for 80% black on the rear 3 and 30% on the front
sides, like I used to have on my old car. It definitely makes it look better
and the light it stops is great when driving in early afternoon when the sun is
just below visor height.

2. Alloygators put on the wheels after cleaning and waxing.

3. Carbon Vinyl over the front DS4 badge and top 2 chrome lateral Citroen
grille bars. This will make people even more confused over what make it is :)

4. Once this is done I may decide to paint the front and rear callipers,
haven't decided on the colour yet but will probably be either black or red.

Not much but will make the black car, all black which in my opinion always
makes it look nicer, cleaner n meaner :)

p.s. you will notice on most of my posts that I edit them, this is purely
because for some reason I don't see the typo's (even though I read it) till
after I hit the post button

Just had a look at that, I did that on my old Clio as some of the grille looked tired and old and it looked brand new when done.

I'm using carbon vinyl so I can just peel it back off if I ever come to sell it and make it look back to normal as I am guessing it might not be to everyones taste.

5. HID set up next I think, always wanted ice blue lights.

Not many people do it (only place I know of is on the South Coast) but a really cool "dip and cover" technique is taking the component to be covered and lowering it into a bath of liquid of some kind, and floating on the top is the actual material that gets applied.
I can't remember way this method is actually called, but there are some fantastic effects possible. I've seen "wooden" alloy wheels and carbon fibre components which look brill

I don't want a permanent look, and I've done carbon fibre vinyl on interior dash parts. I want the whole front darker so thought black carbon vinyl was the way to go, if I don't like I will just pull it off and go back to chrome :)

I also enquired about tinting an it was £160 for all windows but looking at my rear sides closer they can't be far off 80%. I'm going to ring the garage tomorrow as I think I might only need the front sides doing, and I might even get the headlights and rear lights done too :)

I haven't yet but I do have pics of interior I did on my old car.

I will be doing the front top two chrome bars and probably the DS4 logo on the bonnet.

I am hoping the bars will come out otherwise I will have to do them on the car. I know the logo will come off easilt enough once you take off the bonnet undercover

I will post tomorrow when I do it. I will also post as I am doing it once I know whether they will come off. It will be DIY though so you'll not see my hands in the thick of it as I'll need to stop n take pics

I
haven't had time to do anything to the car and to be honest the weather has
been pretty crap here after work but got everything sitting waiting. I also
picked up some headlight tint as I thought I might as well do the lot while I
was on. Will probably only do the fronts as the rears already look darkened
enough.

I forgot, I am also adding side rubbing strips to the car. These weren't cheap but I'm going to paint and fit them myself as after paying £278 I can't justify paying another £160 for them to be painted and fitted. They just stick on and painting them should be fine (only ever painted a grille before this though) Wish me luck

I've not had time yet.

I'm doing prep for my Accountancy exams in 2 weeks and the weather at the moment is unpredictable to say the least. I don't have a garage so working outside in the current climate is not what i want to do.
