hi I got my ds4 last year 2011 plate, when I first got it when the radio was on it has below the main display who was singing the song etc, a few months ago that has disappeared, any ideas people

Just got our DS4 so I'm just guessing, but this does sound like you have inadvertently turned off the RDS data. You can go into the radio setup and ensure the box marked RDS data is checked.

Is it likely that a car registered 5 years ago would have a DAB radio?
