Ive got the emyway unit on my DS4 DSport and it looks like the maps have not been updated since 2011 when the car was new. I want to update the maps and also get access to the 'risk areas' so I can get the speed camera update however, this option is greyed out so cannot access it.
To get the update and get access to the risk areas do I need to take it to a dealer or is there another way? Has anyone else updated the maps?

Any advice and guidance is appreciated

Hi Trevor, I updated my maps just before Christmas from the internet. It was only a few pounds and very easy to update the eMyWay in the car using a memory stick. The results were great with all the latest cameras. When I get home I will check the web address and add it to this post. It was from the official Citroen site.
Cheers Dave

Hi Dave,
Thanks for that.

I checked the citroen navigation site and saw the costs etc. Is this the site you used?

Thanks

Trev, sorry mate I had forgotten that I was supposed to reply to you. Please give me 30 mins to come round then I'll log on to my pc and get the web address for you. I'm using an iPad at the moment and it's not got the web address on it. I was so impressed with the map update that I saved the icon on my desktop.
Message back soon

Hi Trev, the site I used was citroen.navigation.com. I only got the speed camera update as the car was a factory build in November 2013 and I thought that the maps should be up to date. The cameras are spot on and I've not noticed it miss one yet. I have not had the gremlins that some people on here have suffered and my Bluetooth is perfectly clear so I hope yours is a good one too.
Cheers Dave

I think the "risk areas" are greyed out because it is empty. When you load up the camera database (got online from the links already provided),, it becomes available automatically.
This is not clear though, and my dealer did not know, so not surprised about confusion over if you need to have dealer enable first or not.

Hi Hoovie,
Thanks for the information. I'll download the camera update and see what it does.

The dealers don't seem to know a awful lot to be honest. I asked them to make sure the maps were upto date before I collected it and the response was 'map updates....I dunno'.

I'll feedback when Ive done this

Hi Hoovie,
Downloaded the 6.99 camera update and it then gives you access to the risk areas.
Gunna try and find a cheaper map update than the citroen site as I think 79.99 is a bit steep.

I'll let you know if I find a cheaper source
