Hi everyone having looked at the age survey I couldn't help thinking are folk are going for the look, refinement and technology the DS4 has? Not surprising the DS4 won most beautiful car and the old Citroen DS came out top amongst renowned high end car designers.

Then the question came to me, what cars have DS4 owners had and is there a trend?


On another note it annoys me when I read most reviews slating the rear DS4 window for not opening. I've had a Honda HRV and my wife's had a 3dr Punto both rear windows didn't open and it wasn't a problem. Rear windows being open can cause vibration problems at speed! Dual climate control in the DS4 surely makes up for the closed rear windows. The rear window being too small again rear parking sensors make up for that. All cars would look the same if they all had large rear windows and large rear doors. Personally I would prefer a well designed body shape over some practicalities any day.

The DS4 is he perfect family car for us and, I agree, the press commentary about the rear window is none sense, especially as we have a 5 year old who travels in the back!

From the very beginning :

Hillman Imp, difficult to steer in the snow.
Datsun coupe , wing rusted through when 2years old !
Allegro, yellow with black roof, square steering wheel, not that bad actually.
Maestro , space but little else.
Maestro number 2, nothing to say , did what you expected it to do.
Montego estate, diesel, 7 seater. Fantastic family car, young son loved travelling in the back. 95k trouble free miles
Citroen Xantia estate, diesel, superb for the time, travelled 630 miles from Italy to Northern Germany in one day.
Citroen Picasso, good , but boring. 110k trouble free miles
Citroen C4 VTR+, great handling, underrated in my view.

Finally DS4 1.6 diesel, every ok at the moment.

Peugeot 307 DTurbo, 2 litre.
Then the 1.6HDi 115 DS4 DStyle: I've had it nearly 3 years and still look back at it when I leave it. Best looking car on the road! The DS5 is also a very nice looking car, but too big for our needs.

DS4 1.6 - bought this last year when I found out I was to be a dad so decided to part ex my Scooby for a cheaper to run car. I work away during the week and do around 1500 miles per month. Glad I changed it tbh as it has saved me a lot of money and is a nice car to be in, admittedly it has had a few problems the first couple of months but now with software updates everything seems to be OK.......
