Hi all,

Still trying to learn face-lift details:

What year UK cars received the touch screen nav rather than buttons operated nav, as an optional extra please?

Also I believe there was a change to the headlights and rear lights, what year did this come in please?

Thanks

The e-MyWay nav has been the same since launch on the DS4 in terms of functionality, there may have been some minor changes since the facelift earlier this year though.

As for lights, again they haven't changed - the DS4 has Xenon lights as an option on DStyle and DSport models so if you see a car that looks different then that is likely the explanation for this - the easy way to tell are cars with Xenon's is they also have headlight washers fitted, this is part of the 'Security Xenon Signature' pack for the DStyle which includes blind spot monitoring function, front parking sensors with gap measurement and tyre pressure monitors (the DSport gets all the bits excluding the Xenon's and washers as standard in what is, unsurprisingly, called the Security Signature pack).

Thanks again

The Touch screen was introduced from March 2015, but as Frank said the functionality of the system is the same, just less buttons! The Dsport gained this and keyless entry/start as standard, I don't think you can add these as an option on Dsign or Dstyle Nav.

DStyle replaced by DStyle Nav with 7" touchscreen and e-MyWay, contrast pack as a no cost option
DSport with 7" touchscreen and keyless entry and start

The above changes almost coincide with the introduction of Euro 6 compliant engines so the 1.6VTi, 1.6THP 160 auto, 1.6HDi 115, 2.0HDi 135 and 2.0HDi 160 have been phased out and replaced with 1.2 Puretech 130, 1.6 THP 167 (EAT6 auto only), 1.6HDi blue 120, 2.0HDi blue 150 and 2.0HDi blue 180 (EAT6 auto only). There are some of the revised spec models with the old engines and some of the previous spec cars running the 1.2 Puretech 130 - the euro 5 engines are basically being put into cars until they run out of them.

No news yet on the euro 6 compliant replacement for the 1.6THP 200 in the DSport - I suspect the engine used in the 208GTi will be arriving any day soon.
